Job Opening: Care Coordinators

With support from the HKEX Foundation, we're launching Hong Kong's first comprehensive workplace caregiver support program. We firmly believe that those who have personally experienced the caregiving journey understand the needs of caregivers best. As our Care Coordinator, you will stand at the forefront of this innovative project alongside cour Care Consultant, directly supporting working caregivers and providing navigation services. This is a unique opportunity for you to use your personal experience to help others and contribute to improving the situation of caregivers in Hong Kong.

Job Details

  • Position Type: Part-time
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, averaging 3 days per week (approximately 24 hours)
  • Salary: $80-100/hour
  • Location: Kowloon District
  • Vacancy: 2 openings 
  • Benefits: Annual leave, birthday leave, medical insurance (after probation), comprehensive job training

Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the care consultant:

  • Conduct basic needs assessments for caregivers and gather, analyze, and introduce suitable community resources based on their needs. 
  • Provide practical advice and emotional support to caregivers.
  • Properly handle case records and related administrative tasks to ensure service quality meets standards.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

Essential

  • 2+ years of full-time family caregiving experience for elderly family members and willing to share personal caregiving experiences.
  • Passionate about eldercare and caregiver support.
  • Proficient in Cantonese and English.
  • Passed five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or Level 2 or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, including Chinese and English.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good analytical, communication, and writing skills.
  • Responsible, empathetic, and effective in time management.
  • Good time management skills.

Preferred

  • Higher education qualifications such as an associate degree or above are preferred.
  • Experience working with the elderly or caregivers in a work setting or completing relevant training is preferred.

We provide plenty of exciting projects, ranging from research, fundraising, business development, company operations, and marketing, for our interns to take ownership of.
