Job Opening: Care Services Development Lead

With support from the HKEX Foundation Impact Funding Scheme, we're launching Hong Kong's first comprehensive corporate caregiver support program. As our Care Services Development Lead, you'll be at the forefront of this innovative initiative, training former caregivers to become care coordinators while helping create a more caregiver-friendly workplace culture. Working at an early-stage startup, you'll have the autonomy to drive initiatives, the flexibility to experiment with innovative solutions, and the opportunity to grow with us as we scale.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and training curriculum for care coordinators
  • Create and maintain service quality standards and evaluation frameworks
  • Take charge of case management: Conduct needs assessments and develop personalized care plans
  • Provide expert guidance on eldercare resources and community services
  • Lead and mentor care coordinators on case management matters
  • Oversee service delivery and ensure consistent service quality standards
  • Contribute to developing and improving Agewhale's programs and services

We're Looking For Someone Who Is 

Essential

  • Registered social worker, nurse, occupational therapist, counsellor or related professional qualification
  • 3+ years of experience in elderly care or caregiver support services
  • Passionate about caregiver support innovation and creating positive social impact
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and solving problems
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative spirits
  • Solid project management and team leadership capabilities
  • Proficiency in Cantonese and English

Preferred 

  • Experience in program development
  • Experience in social innovation
  • Experience in developing vocational training curricula

Internship Opportunities

We provide plenty of exciting projects, ranging from research, fundraising, business development, company operations, and marketing, for our interns to take ownership of. Interns will have opportunities to make a real impact on the growth of Agewhale and complete the internship with concrete achievements to show to future employers.

We offer flexible working hours and work-from-home arrangements for interns. A recommendation letter will be provided upon satisfactory performance during the internship period.
